VW Bugs fiftieth birthday.

My Bug turned fifty on Oct 1st.  Had to take it for a ride, weather be damned. Great fun it was too.

We had our annual Fall Colour Tour today.  Richard arranged for beautiful weather and we had a wonderful drive out to Silver Islet to take in the Spectacular fall scenery.  We finished up at Karens Kountry Kitchen for a late lunch.  Here are a few shots from the day.

7th Annual Scavenger Hunt

We had our annual scavenger hunt this past Sunday.  Last years winners, Tony and Patricia Gillies put together a fun and challenging hunt for us.  Afterwords they put on a lovely BBQ to wrap things up.  This years winners were Donna and Niel Paterson.  Doris is still talking about the Pavlova we had for desert.

Annual Golf best ball

Congrats to Glenn, Ken, Gord, and Lisle on winning this years Best Ball Tournament.
It was a beautiful day, although a little hot. HWY 588 was in great shape and we had a nice ride out to St. Urho's Golf course in Nolalu.
